Information we collect
When you create an account in the FlatFlick app we collect the details you give us: your name, contact details, the city and areas you're searching in, your budget, your move-in date and the lifestyle preferences used for flatmate matching. Owners additionally provide property details.
We also collect basic technical information such as device type and app usage events, which help us understand what's working and what isn't.
How we use it
We use your information to show you relevant listings and flatmate matches, to let you communicate with owners and other users, to run the FF Coins reward programme, to provide support, and to improve the app.
What we share
Profile details you choose to show are visible to users you interact with — an owner sees who is enquiring, a potential flatmate sees your lifestyle profile. We do not sell personal information. Service providers who help us operate the app may process data on our behalf under contract.
Your choices
You can review and update your profile in the app at any time, control notifications from your device settings, and ask us to delete your account and associated personal data by writing to us.
Data retention and security
We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and for as long afterwards as we're required to, and we apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect it.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially we'll update this page and, where appropriate, tell you in the app.
